This thread was helpful for me as I struggled with the same issue. The solution works great for me on PNGs, but not GIFs, which still Flatten with black as a background rather than white. If I resave the GIF as a PNG, it works, so format is the only difference. Is there a different approach to ...

You want Extent. I agree. Hello. I'm sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I've haven't had any luck finding a solution. I'm trying to enlarge the canvas of an existing image. It seems that Crop will reduce the canvas, but not enlarge it, even with judicious use of exclamation marks. I don't want to scale the image ...
