Re: Netted fabric but no alpha

Hi,
anthony wrote:photographs can not capture transparency. It only captures color, or lack of colors (black), nothing more.
Then how to get the image with the transparency especially for the fabric ?
For an image that is taken how to get the alpha value.

Thanks and Regards,
Madhu.

Camera whch supports png

Hi,

I am working with the semi-transparent images and in png format.
I know that in imagemagick we can convert an image from jpg to png.
But can I get camera which supports the png format instead of converting the file in imagemagick.

Thanks,
Madhu.

convert match_navy.gif -fx 'g-2*b+1' match_one_remove_alpha.png It is not great, but did work to some extent! Now applying it to remove the background color (as per two background color removal) convert match_navy.gif match_one_remove_alpha.png -alpha Off \ -fx "v==0 ? 0 : u/v - u.p{0,0}/v + u.p{0 ...

Re: Background Removal

If the scale of the two images are different, i.e. the distance to the objects from the camera, then you would have to register (warp) the images so that there was a perfect 1:1 match of the two image geometries before you can do background subtraction. Such a perfect registration may be impossible ...

Re: Background Subtraction

Hi,

I am posting the link of the fabric.

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/695/pinknet.png/
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/27/bluenet.png/

The resultant image should be only the fabric without any background.

Thanks,
Madhu.
