Seems it was a bug. Personally I disagree ( I prefer lists), but that is not the point. When one subscribes to a list via e.g. http://studio.imagemagick.org/mailman/listinfo/magick-users There is no mention that one will not be able post to the list. I'd expect that if one can subscribe, then one should be allowed to ...
