I also got ImageMagick 6.8.0-7 2012-11-30 Q16, on Ubuntu Linux. This is the output of 'identify -verbose' on the image for me: (Maybe it would be an idea to post the information for the generated image as well?) Hello fmw42 and thanks for your advice. Unfortunately it didn't work, transparency was seemingly not preserved in the generated image.
