Ran into issues with multi-page tiffs and using the -flatten option. I switched to using the following command line. This draws on all pages of the tif and the resulting tiff can be viewed in MS Picture and Fax. convert -type bilevel -compress group4 -pointsize 20 -draw "text 10,20 'PropertyValue1 ...

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I used the following command - convert -flatten c:\APINV.TIF c:\APINV2.TIF
After that the images display perfectly in the viewer that were showing the green background.

I'm seeing this same behavior. However, it is only in the MS windows and Picture and Fax viewer. Others (MSPaint, Image Magick viewer) seem to work just fine.
