I have changed my "TEMP" system environment variable to "C:\TEMP". Now the conversion procedure works: C:\TEMP>echo %temp% C:\TEMP C:\TEMP>cd /test C:\test>magick test.pdf test.jpg BTW, it seems that as a normal user I am also allowed to write inside c:\windows\temp C:\test>cd %systemroot%\temp C ...

Both directories are there; is this important?
