problem converting DCIM image

Hi all,

i have some problems converting the following DICOM file into Jpg image:

I have no problems to convert other Dicom images.

I am using ImageMagick-6.8.5-Q16 for Windows.

You must build ImageMagick with a lossless JPEG delegate library. Its supported in source but not with any of the ImageMagick binary distributions.

I think you need to install the Jasper (JP2000) delegate library and then compile IM from source. I do not use Windows, so I cannot help much in this regard.

IM will use the JPEG decoder for this file, not the JPEG2000 decoder, so Jasper won't help. You need an IJG-libjpeg-compatible library that supports lossless JPEG.

An outline of what this might involve:

• Apply this patch: ljpeg-6b.tar.gz
• to version 6b of libjpeg: jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz
• and use that as the "jpeg" "delegate" when building ImageMagick.
