Where are the preferences? (windows 7)

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Where are the preferences? (windows 7)

Post by sclaes »

Hello,

I want to open an images (mostly jpegs) full size (so I can view the whole image without having to change/drag anything). Is this possible?

How can I change the default settings? There is no menu entry "edit -> preferences" or similar. I'm confused :-/

Any suggestions?

TIA

Stefaan

BTW: why is not possible to use a quoted string when searching on this board? (I tried to search for 'full size')

Imagemagick is image manipulation/creation software not software to display images.

Is this what you want?

I want imdisplay (which is part of ImageMagick) to display images full size. If I open an image (e.g. a jpeg) with imdisplay, it isn't displayed full size. Is there any setting that I can change to make imdisplay display the image full size?

I'm not sure what you mean by "full size".

When I run imdisplay, it starts by showing the image 1:1, ie each image pixel takes one screen pixel. Menus View -> Resize lets me change the size, eg so I can see all of a large image at once.

But I don't use imdisplay much. I prefer Windows Photo Viewer or, for some purposes, Gimp.
