New IM release is 64 only
Re: New IM release is 64 only
Download http://www.imagemagick.org/download/bin ... 86-dll.exe. Its a 32-bit release.
Re: New IM release is 64 only
Ok, but I want the portable one.
And why does it say x86 if its not?
And are you going to stop uploading a portable 32 version?
Confusing :/

Re: New IM release is 64 only
The portable ImageMagick binary release for Windows is now 64-bits. For 32-bits, you'll need to compile ImageMagick yourself.
The Windows binary releases are built manually. We're looking into an auto-build script. When we have it, we will be able to support additional binary distributions.

What does the above mean?mercury wrote:Q16-x86-(dll|statick).exe Do not release?
Are you saying that IM should not make this release or are you saying you cannot download it or compile it?
Re: New IM release is 64 only
I want Q16-x86-dll.exe
But it can not compile.
sorry, it is not good English.

Re: New IM release is 64 only
Hi. If it means anything, I'd also like to vote for a portable 32-bit release (x86).
There's still a significant number of users who have Windows 32 bit systems. I have approximately 80 - 100 new users every week who download a Windows 32 bit package of XOWA. (http://xowa.sourceforge.net). The recommended 32-bit imageMagick.exe wouldn't work because XOWA can be set up on an SD card / external drive, and carried from system to system. (i.e.: imageMagick needs to be portable).
If it takes a while to integrate the portable Windows 32 binary release, would you post the last known / good version to somewhere in http://www.imagemagick.org/download/? I was unable to find any legacy version of a portable Windows 32 version in the download area.
Thanks in advance.

Re: New IM release is 64 only
Is 32-bit support gone again?
Re: New IM release is 64 only

Thanks
