The latest Windows binary provided via http doesn't match the SHA256 checksum.
Windows SmartScreen warns you that "this application might put your PC at risk".
The FTP version does match the SHA256 checksum and SmartScreen doesn't complain when you execute the file.
Checksum mismatch - Windows binary
Re: Checksum mismatch - Windows binary
Unfortunately we cannot reproduce the problem. We downloaded http://www.imagemagick.org/download/bin ... 64-dll.exe and it returned a SHA256 signature of 699d4a7ef86d3d08503cddded63b420627651acc1c41f9aea0d2fd918bc28df6 as expected.
Re: Checksum mismatch - Windows binary
Good thing you can't reproduce the error!
It's so strange... After rebooting, the same exact file suddenly produces a correct SHA256 checksum! And SmartScreen doesn't throw an error anymore when I try to run the installer.
Any idea what could be causing this? Hardware error? Data corruption? Malware?
