Is any attempt being made to fix the /temp directory bug?

Post by Mavent »

My /temp directory fills up in less than a day now, because IM isn't properly disposing of temp files. Looking around the internet, I see a lot of other people are having this problem. Yet this board seems oddly quiet about the issue. What's going on? Why is such a major issue being ignored?

[Mod note: as this is about bugs, I'm moving it to the bugs forum.]

Have reproducible bugs been reported?

I'm not a developer, but as far as I can see IM deletes temporary files, provided it finishes properly. If it crashes, it may leave temporary files.

Are you using the latest version of ImageMagick? And can you provide us with an example that we can use to reproduce this?
