Version 7.0.1-2 and magick/api.h

Post by taurnil »

In the recent version release, was magick/api.h removed? ImageMagick-6.9.4-0 worked fine with transcode-1.1.7 but trying to compile it with 7.0.1-2 the configure phase fails with;

Code: Select all

ERROR: option '--enable-imagemagick' failed: cannot compile magick/api.h
magick/api.h can be found in the following packages:
  Wand  http://www.imagemagick.org/
Edit: There is no api.h in the tarball.

There is no header file, magick/api.h, in ImageMagick version 7. It is likely that transcode will only works with ImageMagick version 6.
