I just wrote a new blog post about parallel testing of different versions of ImageMagick.

IM 6.7.7.10 was not a good choice. It was during major changes of Imagemagick for colorspace/grayscale linear vs non-linear. And thus had bugs besides the middle of the changes. See viewtopic.php?f=4&t=21269
