Newbie here!

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

seems like either you don't have IM installed (properly) or don't know where it resides. the first thing is to really confirm that you have IM and where it is installed and then if PHP knows about it. Perhaps one of the IM/PHP experts (bonzo) may be able to help further.

Hello all. I'm newbie here too and wanted to have imagemagick installed as well on my server

Also I tried to download latest version So I can upload manually to my server.

Where should I i put it ? Default path is usr/bin according to PHPbb , but i believe i can't reach it

can I create a folder under public_html?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :shock:

I suggest you discuss this with your ISP. You probably have to install it in your own directory so it does not conflict with your ISPs version. Or they would have to upgrade for you.
