Server: Linux SLES 9 (i586) 32-bit (yes, it's old)
I've done the following:
Download the ImageMagick.tar.gz from www.imagemagick.org to /tmp/ImageMagick
Unpack the distribution with this command:
tar xvzf ImageMagick.tar.gz
Next configure and compile ImageMagick:
cd ImageMagick-7.0.3
./configure --prefix=/appl/ImageMagick-7.0.3
make
The compilation eventually errors out, with the last block of output as follows:
