find task for tmp file?

Hi there.

I have some IM tmp files that are odd (basically lots of files of about the same size created on the same day for no known reason). Is it possible to somehow find out what IM was told to do that resulted in the creation of those files? Like, some sort of log or information that can be extracted from the tmp files or anything like that?

Please, always provide your IM version and platform when asking questions, since syntax may differ. Also provide your exact command line and if possible your images.
