Display and MVG

Hello everyone.
Just a quick question: can I use the display app (under Linux) to generate a MVG file?
If not, will this be added to IM?

Excuse me for spamming here, I just tried myself and saw MVG format is supported in display app.
Just FMI, does it save actual drawing commands, or does it put a bunch of pixel drawing commands?

Please, help.

P.S.: I'm asking because selecting MVG file format and saving gave me an error.
