Hello,
I am trying to use ImageMagick to convert a .tif image to pdf or something more readable on our 400. We need to accomplish this in order to use the image through browser. Scott Klement has some intructions out there on his website, but they are outdated and do not give you the tifflib that you need to convert. I have tried a few ways and nothing seems to work. Does anyone have instructions they could share?
Installing Image Magic on the IBMi AS400
Re: Installing Image Magic on the IBMi AS400
Let's see if ImageMagick builds out-of-the-box. Try these commands:
Code: Select all
curl -O https://www.imagemagick.org/download/ImageMagick.tar.gz
tar xvf ImageMagick.tar.gz
cd ImageMagick-7.0.8-9
./configure
make
sudo make install
/usr/local/bin/magick --version
/usr/local/bin/magick logo: logo.gif
Re: Installing Image Magic on the IBMi AS400
That did not seem to work.
Re: Installing Image Magic on the IBMi AS400
We can't help without knowing how the build failed.

Hi,
i'm trying the same, but the installation fails with the configure script. Here's a log:

Re: Installing Image Magic on the IBMi AS400
I am also seeing the same error as crxo1. Did anyone find a resolution to this? I posted my ./configure output below.
