Transparent background and DISPLACE operator

Transparent background and DISPLACE operator

Hello,
I have text.png image with some colored text on transparent background.
If I use -displace operator then I receive distorted text but on black background.
What should I do to receive distorted text on transparent background?

If transparency is not displaced, then is sound like you have a bug.

First get the latest IM. Then give us a link to the image you are using and the command line, so we can check it out properly.
