Problem compiling ImageMagick-6.3.1 on Solaris 9

Post by jagadeeshtata »

Hi,

I'm getting following error while issuing following command

/uv1335/u03/apps/Imagemagick/bin> ldd convert
libMagick.so.10 => /uv1335/u03/apps/Imagemagick/lib/libMagick.so.10
libWand.so.10 => /uv1335/u03/apps/Imagemagick/lib/libWand.so.10
libc.so.1 => /usr/lib/libc.so.1
libXext.so.0 => /usr/lib/libXext.so.0
libXt.so.4 => /usr/lib/libXt.so.4
libpthread.so.1 => /usr/lib/libpthread.so.1
libdl.so.1 => /usr/lib/libdl.so.1
libSM.so.6 => /usr/lib/libSM.so.6
libICE.so.6 => /usr/lib/libICE.so.6
libX11.so.4 => /usr/lib/libX11.so.4
libsocket.so.1 => /usr/lib/libsocket.so.1
libnsl.so.1 => /usr/lib/libnsl.so.1
libm.so.2 => (file not found)
libm.so.2 => (file not found)
libgcc_s.so.1 => (file not found)
libm.so.2 => (file not found)
libgcc_s.so.1 => (file not found)
libmp.so.2 => /usr/lib/libmp.so.2
/usr/platform/SUNW,Sun-Fire- V490/lib/libc_psr.so.1
libthread.so.1 => /usr/lib/libthread.so.1

I set path for PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH in .profile

I'm beginner for this...don't know how to resolve issue.

Does copying of files libgcc_s.so.1,libm.so.2 (files not found, mentioned above) from a different location/server to the required directory will solve the issue ?.

Any suggestion would be of great help.

Thanks,
Jagadeesh Tata.
