Need some help Installing and linking to phpbb forum

I downloaded a mod, authors link http://ptifo.clanmckeen.com/index.php

The mod that I installed was Category Heirarchy and attachment mod. The thing here is that he states you can automatically generate thumbnails of the pictures you load if you have imagemagick. So, I am trying to load imagemagick to my server which operates using linux so I can generate thumbnails. I tried following the instructions but I don't know which version to download, how to install it or even what a "command line" is.

Can somebody help me?

Is anybody here that can help or can somebody please send me to a place that has instructions on how to load this thing?
