Staying logged in to forum

I accidentally deleted all cookies in Firefox and now the IM forum doesn't log me in automatically on each visit any more.
I have tried all sorts of contortions with cookies/passwords and telling the site to "log me in automatically" to try to get it to remember me but have failed.
I haven't had any problems getting any other site to remember me again.
What's the trick with this forum?

Perhaps its a subtle hint Pete !

I know on some forms you have to press the button ( in this case Login ) rather than just pressing enter on the keyboard.

But that didn't work for me with IE7

I was complaining about this just yesterday. It seems to be a known interaction fault between the phpBB software used for the IM forum, and the firefox automatic login-password form filling.

There is a modification that can be made to phpBB, and whcih Cristy will need to apply. There is also suposedally some way to turn it off in a users firefox client too.

I myself also find it a pain.
