display without menu

is there any way to disable the menu on display window? (the one shows when left click on the display window)
and also disable all the hotkey function? I actually only need the former, next and quit three hotkeys.

How about a way to get -display to abort (with error) if no image is avialble to display, rather than displaying the IM logo!
If -immutable does this, that would be perfect.
