Cretae a TIFF16 or TIFF32 as result of a math expression

Post by gadenz »

Dear IM users. This is the problem I am facing. I thought it would be possible to solve using IM but so fare I was not able to do it.

I need a TIFF16 for assigning each pixel the elevation value of a Tsunami wave. The real world elevation values are calculated using a math expression acting over pixel values of other three 8 bits images.

I used convert and everithing works fine but the normalisation of the value of the pixel value into the final result. Is there a way to disable the process of normalisation so that the final pixel value reflect the result of the expression?

Any other idea to accomplish this task?

Thanks everybosy

Can you be more specific with the steps you are using?

Have you looked at the -fx operator?

What IM quantum number build are you using and have you tried hdri builds?
