Profiles . . . how do I use them??

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Profiles . . . how do I use them??

i have profiles installed in /usr/share/color/icc/Adobe\ ICC\ Profiles/ but when I do a convert -profile USWebCoatedSWOP.icc *** I get a file can not be found. . . I think I need to let imagemagick know where my profiles are???

Use the absolute file path, for example, -profile /usr/share/color/icc/Adobe\ ICC\ Profiles/USWebCoatedSWOP.icc.

great! is there a way to specify this in an environment variable?
