Command line shortcut script available?

Post by imagewinter »

In many command line programs, there are shortcuts of the switches, but in imagemagick, the full switch has to be typed in. i.e. -quality instead of -q.

Most of the time, more than one switch is used. Thus making the command line long and more to type. Is there a trick or a script available to make things a little easier?

No.

It was decided not to use 'shortcuts' as it just made things a lot harder to read and understand.
There are just too many options to make 'shortcuts' a good idea.
