slow oil paint effect

slow oil paint effect

Hello.

Could you please advise...

I use oil paint function via perl API
$res_img = $img->OilPaint( radius => 1 );

But it works terribly slow and makes server slow down.
Is there any alternative command to create Oil Paint effect?
