convert compress option ignored

ImageMagick only supports LZW compression for the GIF image format. We do not consider it a bug that -compress RLE, for example, is ignored because we consider output options as hints rather than as commands. However, we do consider your post as an enhancement request and will add it to our ever growing list of enhancements for future development.
