problem with transparency in composite command

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

I have tried all of that, and it seems like ImageMagick is not properly installed in my Cygwin.
On the other hand, using console commands is not necessary for me, because I have found out that my hosting provider does not allow using it in PHP. Now I can try to do anything only with MagickWand :).
Many thanks for your help!

My only other thought is to write another post asking how to properly install IM with Cygwin. The experts at IM can then probably help you on this.
