Convert window prevention

Hello. On Windows Xp when convert.exe is used, a console window opens and stays till convert.exe finishes up its duty. But is it possible to make the window not appear? For my application I use the convert.exe as resizement tool and I want to make the convertion process act in background and silently.

Well I have noticed the window opens when command used from RUN but not from CMD. Is it possible to prevent window appearing from RUN, too?

This is a windows problem and nothing to do with ImageMagick at all.

If the window properties is set to open a command window one will be opened until the command finishes. Does not matter if the command is "convert" or some other program.
