*Consulting Opportunity* - Need IM help!

Post by tomfrazier »

Hi IM'ers... My name is Tom and I am in need of somebody who is experienced in using IM and the command line suite of tools. This project is quite a fun and interesting challenge... After reading through the boards I don't think I have seen a similar project yet so hopefully somebody will be up for the challenge! In short, I am looking to build a system to create thousands of composite images based on >180 different rulesets and >150 images (i.e. image 1 needs to be processed by all rulesets to produce ~180 different images). This system will also need to be able to create new composites if new rulesets are created (~40-60 per year) as well as create new composites when new images are added (~+800 within first 12 months).

This project shouldn't be a huge challenge for an experienced IM person. In my head I think it will be a few scripts, a few structured hierarchies of input/output images and a few .xml configurations for rulesets and image processing. The timeframe is somewhat short... this needs to be more or less completed by mid-August.

This is a paid gig! The hourly rate is negotiable and I need somebody to start ASAP. Location can be anywhere. Please do get in contact with me if you are interested. I am also willing to give a finders fee (to be discussed if applicable).

Thanks to all those that have helped me decide on ImageMagick! Fred & Anthony, despite never speaking with either of you, have really identified to me the power of ImageMagick as a superior alternative to Photoshop for this project!!!! (you two are more than welcome to do this project as well)

:)
