How to add cut marks at the corners of an image?

Hello all,

Is it possible to add so-called "cut marks" or "crop marks" at the corners of an image created with ImageMagick?
If so, does someone know how to do so?

you can draw lines or symbols or combinations to get tick marks where ever you want them
