Ok, via my cloud host, who had ImageMagick installed for PHP, i have managed to read my chosen images, edit, and save, as per my desires, proving ImageMagick can perform my end goals.
Now, my challenge is that I need to do this in on a windows 2008 platform.
Primary interests are to read layer of gif, tiff, psd, etc., save images, as well as read layer info to be used in variables for further processing.
Now, I am totally lost when I look at the site here, as to direction.
There are far too many wonderful apps and possibilities.
I have attempted to download to my local server environment to run tests, but still have failed to determine which one, etc. and fail to get anything up.
If I am to bang through this, I think I will focus on the live environment, a windows 2008 SP1 64bit IIS6.
Alternatively, i may have an environment identical, but 32bit.
What download should I begin with to get the install done?
Realizing my end desire is simply to read data from layers of gif/tiff, manipulate, safe layers, and use data further in code.
Any help is appreciated.
