Modifiy shadow on polaroid effect

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if it is possible to enlarge the shadow effect "polaroid" in proportion to the size of the image?
I use the technical methode for reduce bluring in my caption text, but the sequence of increase-decrease, destruct the final effect...
so there's there a solution?

For best help, you probably should supply an example and the exact command line(s) used.

The shadow size is currently fixed

This also becomes a problem when you what to use 'super-sampling' to improve the quality of the image/font. Especially as internally it uses the 'sheared' -rotate method for image rotation.

NOTE also that the shadow is generated before the rotation due to the way the 'curl' is applied to the image.

I have see the info about this in a doc, for inconvenience technique of super-sample i do make manually the polaroid effect. I work with PHP, I do not know the interaction with Ruby scripts and I do not RMagick installed on my server, but imagemagick.

Until such time as someone updates polaroid to allow the use of extra arguments for the shadow sigma (size), and perhaps even the curl size, then I am sorry but you will have to DIY it. The details on how polaroid is generated is all there online at the pointers I have given.
