converting 1 page of a pdf to jpg

I have a PDF and want to convert just the first page of the pdf to a jpg.
Is there an option to convert just the first page and not the entire document?

Is there another command line arguement i can add to the following...

Q:\PDFTools\test2\convert -auto-orient Q:\PDFTools\test3\36746513.pdf Q:\PDFTools\test3\36746513.jpg

convert image.pdf[0] image.jpg

or for more quality

convert -density 144 image.pdf[0] -resize 50% image.jpg

or

convert -density 288 image.pdf[0] -resize 25% image.jpg

The latter two do supersampling and will be slower.
