Announcing RMagick Flickr Group

Post by quickbrownfox »

Hello all,

I've started an RMagick group on Flickr and would like to encourage anyone who uses RMagick to share their images and example code. In time, I hope this can become a central repository for all of the cool stuff people are doing with RMagick. I've seeded the group with a few things, but I really look forward to seeing what other people contribute. http://www.flickr.com/groups/1249500@N20/

Interesting group. but needs more techniques from others.

The existing 'ImageMagick' tags were taken over by users who do photo cleanup with IM

Agreed. I just added a couple of things to get the ball rolling. While there is a lot of great information and examples of ImageMagick usage on the web, there is a lot less for RMagick. In my own case, I've mostly relied on random snippets that I encountered while googling, so I thought a central repository for this stuff could be of real value. Flickr seemed like a good option because of its image-centric nature and the fact that a lot of people already have accounts.
