Can IM report on images with errors in their formatting?

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Can IM report on images with errors in their formatting?

Howdy,

I have a bunch of images and have had network problems during some of their download. There are too many to check each by hand. Is there a scriptual way to have IM report on the presence of errors in them?

Any hints/tips/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

convert infile NULL:

returns 0 on success, 1 on failure.
