convert.exe using loads of memory, temp files not deleted

Post by Ponta »

Hi,
I have been using IM to convert images for several years now, 1 month ago i switched to a x64 system running W2K3 server. It has been working fine until today, when the server became unresponsive.
I found that all RAM was used up (10GB), and C: was full. C: is 80GB and the tempfiles magick-xxxx was using ~70GB in C:\windows\temp. I cleared all and restarted the server and all was fine. ~1 hour later the convert process use all available memory again and have created 60GB of temp files again...

Anyone else experience similar problems?

UPDATE: It was .PSD files beeing processed at the time, around 150MB in size.
UPDATE2: The files was corrupted >.< "Unexpected EOF...", anyone know how to check a .PSD file to verify it is correct before sending it to IM?
