PSD Layer Group information

Hello,

i am building a widget to load PSD and save each Layer as .dds file.
I also would like to flatten Layers of the same Group to one Image and save that image.

Is there any way of accessing or finding out in which Layergroup a single Layer from a PSD is?

I could only find an old thread where some people were discussing about implementing it, but i couldn't find any further information about that.

I don't know if that is implemented. I see nothing in IM verbose info (identify -verbose imagefile). But suggest you try exiftool. You might also post a link to your file so others can verify and identify what groups you have.
