Import showing windows behind chrome browser

Ubuntu Jaunty

Here is the screen shot. The terminal window is actually behind the google chrome browser window. Oddly, the terminal's border is missing. (2nd screenshot: what it looks like with ubuntu's default screen capture of roughly the same area)

Ubuntu's default "Take Screenshot" program has the correct output:

Add the -screen option. Does that fix the problem?

Nope, sorry. When I use -screen it captures the whole desktop instead of the selected area, but even then, the terminal window still shows though the browser.

UPDATE! I disabled (what I think is) compiz by going to system -> preferences -> appearance -> visual effects. Set to none.

Now it works correctly! But I wish it would work with Compiz
