Even installation is difficult

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

Even installation is difficult

Post by pchangb »

I use win XP SP3 32bit.
I do not have C++,VC, and do not know them.

I want to install imagemagick and use it.
But I do not know exactly which file to download, and how to install.

After installation, I want to convert a png file to a jpg file. (just to test)

Could you make a video - start from nothing, download the program, install it, convert
a png file to a jpg file ? You can use youtube to upload a video..
I read many articles but I cannot understand. Thank you very much!

Installation is quite easy; have you seen my instructions ?

You may have a problem with convert as windows also has a convert program but try the instructions above and see what happens.
If you want to use pdf and text make sure you install ghostscript first.
