Noise Generation

Noise Generation

I'm using: ImageMagick-6.7.3-0-Q16-windows-dll

On a laptop (2GB memory) this command line:

convert -size 4500x3500 xc: +noise Poisson OUT.JPG

took 2 minutes 10 seconds. This seems excessive. Am I wrong?

Yes. We'll have a patch to fix the problem in ImageMagick 6.7.3-1 Beta by sometime tomorrow. Thanks.
