ImageMagick v6.7.2 Q16 repository???

Post by iamem3 »

Hi All. Is anyone able to please point me to a link where my hosts can link to a repository where version IM v6.7.2 Q16 is compiled? My developers have left me high and dry and the hosts are only telling me they don't have it in their repository ... so your help would be very much appreciated!!! Thank you.

I only know about source code archives and not binaries. Source code can be found at http://sourceforge.net/projects/imagema ... s/6.x/6.7/ and it can be compiled according to
http://www.imagemagick.org/download/www ... .html#unix
http://www.imagemagick.org/script/advan ... lation.php

6.7.6.3 binaries can be found at http://www.imagemagick.org/download/binaries/

Thank you for the help fmw42! I'm struggling to understand the protocol of all of this ... a creative who's been dropped into the middle of an IT ocean. So, apologies if I'm sounding like a plebe, but is there no place that has a compiled version of IM v6.7.2 Q16 that is sitting in a repository that I can have the server hosts easily link to??? Thanks again!

I do not know. The IM developers may know of one.

But why not upgrade to the current version binary, which is readily available?

Also you did not say what platform you are on. Binaries are only available for certain platforms, even if you could find an archive.
