A edited DNG conversion is wrong

Post by Forssound »

Hi there,

I've got some pictures in DNG format and would like to convert them to jpg.

However the pictures have been edited like original they where in color and not cropped.
The photographer turned the original raw color picture into a cropped B&W image with lightroom and re saved them as a DNG file.

When I open them with image magick it shows me the original.
Is there a way to see the saved edits?

Kind Regards

Was the original file exported from Lightroom as Lightroom is a "non destructive" program and so does not edit the original file.

What does the dng file look like in another program?

The photographer imported a raw nikon image turned it into B&W and cropped it .
He uses Lightroom 3.6
He saved the picture as a .dng file
When I open the dng with imagemagic 6.7.9-10 or digiKam or irfanview I see the original picture.
When I open the image with another Lightroom on another pc I see the picture as intended by the photographer.
