possible bug -blur 0x0 since IM 6.8.3.5

Max OSX Snow Leopard

Starting at IM 6.8.3.5 (through IM 6.8.3.8beta) the following command produces a black image (for any input image)

convert rose: -blur 0x0 show:

Prior to that release it looked like the input image (basically a no-op)

Is this an intended change or a bug?

We can reproduce the problem you posted and have a patch in ImageMagick 6.8.3-8 Beta available by sometime tomorrow. Thanks.
