Remove light effects, even illumination

Questions and postings pertaining to the usage of ImageMagick regardless of the interface. This includes the command-line utilities, as well as the C and C++ APIs. Usage questions are like "How do I use ImageMagick to create drop shadows?".

thank you very much so far!:)

After trying the sparse color shepards and playing around with them a little, it seems to me, that they change the original image too much (at least with the settings, I tried, being a total novice).

Is there any other way to fill the "holes" automatically?

I stand corrected about the change in the opaque areas.

Anthony told me:

"The problem is for hole filling is that shepards 'leaks' between multiple holes.

Idealy with would like to have color diffusion for hole filling (like shepards but does not leek).
But that needs to be closely tied to morphology distance, and I don't have time for it."
