possible bug -colorize 6.8.4.10 Mac OSX Snow Leopard

I am getting strange vertically striped grayscale (and not colorized) results from colorizing a grayscale image in 6.8.4.10 and as far back as I have tested to 6.8.3.0

convert logo: -colorspace gray -fill red -colorize 100% show:

We can reproduce the problem you posted and have a patch in ImageMagick 6.8.5-0 Beta available by sometime tomorrow. Thanks.

It appears to be fixed in the latest version of the 6.8.5.0 beta.
