Hello!
I've many problem to convert PDF in PNG transparency when PDF was in landscape mode or pdf file with semi transparency item.
(I think that it was a problem with the call of pngalpha printer by ImageMagick himself)
Solved by the use of GS before ImageMagick :
exec("gs -sDEVICE=pngalpha -sOutputFile=$jpg_saved -r72 $pdf");
exec("convert $jpg_saved_file -colorspace RGB $jpg_saved");
