This is a static build, correct? Can you please test to create a png image with transparent background? In my tests those end up black.

Use the mode OF Static Multi-threaded DLL runtimes (VisualStaticMTDLL).
then building, it will create 19 lib files, indir imagemagick-6.3.7\VisualMagick\lib
then open vc++6.0 , open magickwand.dsp, click Tools -> Options ->Directories ->Show directories of Library files, add the path of "imagemagick-6.3.7\VisualMagick\lib"(Use absolute path),and then build the php_magickwand.dsp;

then i found a php_magickwand.dll in the D:\phpdev\php-5.2.5\Release_TS

Does anyone have these files uploaded to another host? Seems they are sending out Server 500 Errors.

Also are these DLLs being kept up for later versions like v5.3 and v6 of PHP?

Sorry to stop upgrading so long time. These dlls will be upgraded next week. Just wait.

Could you instruct me on compiling these on windows? I have compiled PHP itself before, just never with custom extensions like this.

When I follow the guide i get errors about AlphaChannel blah blah not decalred, and my windows installaton does not contain a PHPIZE?

to build php_magickwand.dll you need download some packages:
php source, imagemagick source,
win32build , php_magickwand.dsp fo vc6.
with these files you can follow these steps bellow:
1: build imagemagick, then you will get 19 Librarys;
2: add php_magickwand.dsp to php_modules.dsw;
3: build with php_magickwand.dsp;

( I pasue to build the dll file because when i build the imagemagick,i got some convertion errors; )
