How to load AVI or other video files thru API?

How to load AVI or other video files thru API?

I used Magick++::Image to load an AVI file, but unfortunatly, it failed. Is there any ways to load a video file?

Another question:
Is Magick able to create a thumbnail for a video file instead of converting vidoes to Gifs?
